The Nellie Moser Trust
Promoting continuous learning for members of the Corwin and Nora Moser family.
Born in 1933 and died in 2005, Nellie remains a beacon for our family’s abiding interest in pursuing educational opportunities that allow us to grow, prosper and be knowledgeable citizens of this world.
Nellie Moser had a great love of knowledge. In her will, Nellie designated $25,000 “to be invested and the earnings be used to help any relative of the Moser family in pursuit of a higher education.” Along with funds donated by others, the money has been invested, as per Nellie’s instructions, with the obligation of keeping the principal ($25,000) intact while providing scholarships from the accrued interest and cash donations as stipulated by the donor. Nellie’s generosity in leaving this gift for the establishment of this trust is not unexpected, as we all knew her to be a most kind and giving person. The purpose for these scholarships is that they be used to help Moser family members pursue higher education.
